My professional career started
in physics and continues in vibration engineering, programming of
industrial controlers and turbine instrumentation . In the past I spent
most of my free time playing volleyball. I am still
interested in this sport, but in veteran league only.
Cross-country skiing, tennis
and hiking are my other
hobbies.
Photography is my hobby for
long years. After lot of trouble
with former Russian cameras I started to use German Prakticas of different
types with nice Zeiss* lenses, now I use mostly
Nikons. Sometime, when looking on someone's pictures, I want to finish
with photography. But, on the other hand, with a camera, my visual
sense is much more intensive and helps me
see our world in a different way.
*
Zeiss Jena (Ost Germany) produced Tessars, Sonnars and other
lenses of good optical and mechanical quality, but not on par with
"real" Zeiss Oberkochen lenses.
